Disinfection of water systems for the food and agricultural industry 

Cindro specializes in disinfecting water pipes, flushing installations and surfaces, among other things. For each application, Cindro produces and supplies specific mixtures of stabilized hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂), the most sustainable solution for disinfection.

Producer since 1989

Cindro has been producing white and private label H₂O₂ formulations since 1989. Our H₂O₂ products are manufactured at our facility in Twisk.

History

Cindro has been around for over 70 years and has been a family business for 3 generations. Cindro was founded in 1950 under the name NCI in the Waalhaven of Rotterdam. This name was changed after the company was taken over by the grandfather of the current director Thomas Verburg.
Cindro produced, and still produces stabilized hydrogen peroxide for the food, pharmacy, medical and agricultural industries. Since 2001, Cindro has become a producer of animal feed additives, food supplements for humans and resilient cultivation products for the agricultural industry.

In addition, Cindro has developed as a specialist in disinfecting cultivation systems and conducts research to enable healthy growth without harmful substances for humans, animals and the environment. Nowadays the head office of Cindro is located in Andijk and Cindro produces various stabilized hydrogen peroxide products in Twisk.

Quality

Cindro has the GMP+ certificate. GMP+ is the standard for certifying quality systems in the animal feed industry. It ensures the safety of feed.

Cindro is FSSC 22000 certified. This is GFSI recognized certification scheme for food safety and quality assurance in the food and feed industry.

Our products are produced consistently, traceable and food-safe according to GMP+ and FSSC 22000 quality standards.

Cindro is the only company in Europe to be the lead REACH registrant for the pure substance orthosilicic acid.
